How to Put Three Photos in a Row as One Image

A three-photo row is useful when you want to show a short sequence without a collage grid. Put the opening image on the left, the main image in the middle, and the final image on the right. Image Merge’s Horizontal layout provides the arrangement step.

Choose a useful scope

A row becomes wide quickly, especially with landscape sources. Choose this layout when the viewer can open the image at a useful size and when the left-to-right order matters. For small text or detailed portraits, a vertical sequence may be easier to view on a phone.

Prepare the source images

  • Choose exactly three related photos. Open each original to check the subject, focus, and details that should remain visible in the combined row.
  • Prepare comparable framing in your usual editor when needed. Similar source heights or consistent presentation copies can make the visual comparison easier to plan.
  • Decide what belongs in the center. In a chronological sequence, use the middle event; in a visual collection, choose the photo that connects the two outer images.

Plan the image order

Select left, middle, then right. The diagram is a source-order guide, not a photo export. The genuine app demonstration shows cove, walkway, then harbor from AI-generated coastal scenes. Its actual saved strip is 4608 by 1024 pixels in Standard JPG; that is one example, not a guaranteed size for every three-photo row.

Arrange the prepared images in Image Merge

  1. Open Image Merge from the app home screen. If the list contains an earlier selection, save that work if needed, then use Clear List before starting this set.
  2. Tap Add Image, select your prepared sources, and confirm the selection with Add in the picker.
  3. Check the returned list against your intended sequence. Hold an item to change its order when needed.
  4. Tap Image Merge under the source list to open the preview.
  5. Open Layout and choose Horizontal. Check every intended panel in the reading direction described above.
  6. Tap Save, follow any prompts shown by your version, and open the saved file. The recorded example uses Standard and saves a JPG.

Choose Horizontal in Layout and check the sequence before saving. This screenshot shows the Standard save setting used for the example; the surrounding black area belongs to the editor. Check the saved image

Open the saved row and confirm the left-middle-right order. Compare panel edges with the source photos and look for details that appear too small at the destination’s display width. Check the attachment in the real message or post preview rather than relying only on the editor’s fitted view.

Keep a clear master copy

Image Merge supports HD output and JPG/PNG saving. Choose PNG for a losslessly compressed master when available, and inspect the saved image at the size you need. PNG compression does not prove that earlier resizing preserved every original pixel. HD cannot restore detail missing from the sources. The illustrated app result is Standard JPG; HD/UHD appeared as Pro options in the tested build. Availability and prompts depend on your version and access.

Practical tips

Keep individual photos available when someone needs to inspect one scene. If the strip is too wide for comfortable viewing, use the same source order in Vertical for another copy. A horizontal row has separate photos; it does not demonstrate automatic panorama alignment or overlap removal.

FAQ

Does a three-photo row make a panorama?

It creates a strip of distinct images. Seamless panorama stitching, perspective alignment, and matching overlapping scenes are not demonstrated.

Will my row match the example’s pixel dimensions?

Your saved dimensions depend on your own sources and settings. The recorded dimensions describe the demonstration file only.

Try a small set first

Choose three related photos and confirm their left-middle-right order in the saved strip.
